About OMNIA

A teaching organization closing a gap in who gets to do philosophy.

Philosophy has spent centuries inside universities. OMNIA exists to put it within reach of older adults — through senior centers, live online sessions, and free resources — and to give them the tools to keep philosophizing on their own.

Our mission

Our mission is to spread philosophy access to seniors everywhere. From live discussion events to online resources, we promote intergenerational learning and communication. More than that, we give seniors the tools to philosophize for themselves. Philosophy is about sharing ideas, and that is what we strive to do at OMNIA philosophy.

The team

A six-person team,
one shared conviction

OMNIA is run by a small, volunteer team that handles curriculum, partnerships, facilitation, and operations

Hi, name is Andrew and I love philosophy! I'm a student at Phillips Andover, and I live in Mahwah, New Jersey. In my free time I'm a rower, a huge hockey fan, and my favorite philosophy text is Famine, Affluence, and Morality by Peter Singer.

Hi, I’m Felix! I’m currently a student at Phillips Academy. Apart from philosophy, I dabble in crew, history and politics. I’m especially interested in economic and social philosophy. I’d say Karl Popper’s Open Society and It’s Enemies is currently my favorite philosophical work.
